Frequently Asked Questions

Our pricing algorithm combines several factors:

  • Competitor pricing data collected from Amadeus API
  • Historical pricing patterns and seasonality
  • Your hotel's revenue targets
  • Machine learning models trained on market data

The system filters competitor rates to ensure only comparable offers (standard rooms, refundable rates) are included in the analysis.

Competitor data is updated daily through our automated data collection pipeline. The system strategically samples dates to maximize information while minimizing API calls. You can also manually trigger data collection for specific dates if needed.

If a recommended rate seems inappropriate:

  1. Check the competitor data to understand what's driving the recommendation
  2. Consider adjusting your revenue targets if they're pushing rates too high
  3. Manually override the rate if needed using the Update Rates page
  4. Contact support if you believe there's an issue with the prediction engine
